Guidance, Navigation & Controls

What do we do?

The Guidance, Navigation & Controls Subsystem is charged with the task of designing a system that can accurately predict the state of a craft and manipulate that state in a safe and stable manner. This state prediction includes the altitude, velocity, and geographical location of the craft. Manipulating the craft includes controlling altitude, attitude, and lateral movements while ensuring that it will not become unstable.
