Command & Data Handling
What do we do?
Lunar Lion’s Command and Data Handling (CDH) subsystem is responsible for connecting the craft to ground control. They facilitate the exchange of information between the sensors and actuators on the craft, allowing for control and data collection.

Sammy Binkin
C&DH Member
Sammy Binkin is a sophomore from Pittsburgh, PA. He is planning to double major in Aerospace Engineering and Interdisciplinary Digital Studio. Since a young age, Sammy has always been interested in art and design, and decided to pursue Aerospace Engineering while keeping art and design in mind. Sammy’s primary career goal is to enter the private space industry and use his knowledge in aesthetic design in coordination with Aerospace Engineering somehow. He also has a slight background in programming and has worked on programming a weather balloon sensor payload that recorded atmospheric data. In his free time, Sammy enjoys drawing, painting, and learning concept design, along with exercising, talking about absurd topics, exploring abandoned things, photography, and sleeping too much or too little.
