Michael Paul is a space systems engineer at Penn State’s Applied Research Laboratory. He was at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory from 2000 to 2008, where he was the spacecraft systems engineer for NASA’s MESSENGER Mission to Mercury. Michael also worked on NASA’s twin Solar Terrestrial Observatories and the Comet Nucleus Tour. While at Johns Hopkins, he earned an M.S. in applied physics.
Michael Paul joined Penn State’s Applied Research Laboratory in 2009 and works on advanced autonomous vehicles and space system development. He received his B.A. in liberal arts from Stonehill College in 1995 and his B.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1996.
